Thomas Schmidt

Thomas has been responsible for all matters related to business start-ups, business relocation, and regional development since 1998. He is the vice president of the Hightech Itzehoe e. V. association.

Thomas studied business administration with a focus on technology management, earning a degree in business administration. His thesis examined “Financing innovations through the use of venture capital for high-tech companies.” Before beginning his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a machine and plant technician in Cottbus and subsequently worked at the power plants of Vattenfall Europe AG.
